12-Fret | Taylor Guitars
The 12-Fret is a Grand Concert that truly speaks for itself. As a result of joining the neck to the body at the 12th fret rather than the 14th and moving the bridge farther back on the soundboard, the guitar’s tone sounds wonderfully aged right out of the case. The “modern vintage” voice blends warmth and depth on the low end with sparkling clarity and articulation, and yields surprising overall volume for a smaller body style. Two tonewood pairings are available: rosewood/spruce and mahogany/cedar.12-Fret | Taylor Guitars

12-FrGrand Concert
The smallest of Taylor’s full-size body shapes. Its compact dimensions make for a physically comfortable guitar with an intimate feel and sound. The smaller footprint keeps the overtones in check, contributing to a focused, articulate sound that’s well-suited for recording and stage work.
-
Taylor’s all-magnetic acoustic pickup works like a microphone to produce a warm, natural acoustic sound. The ES1 incorporates two magnetic sensors: a body sensor mounted to the soundboard and a string sensor under the fretboard, with an onboard preamp and volume, bass and treble controls.
Venetian
Standard on “ce” models in the 300 Series and up, the Venetian cutaway is known for its soft, round lines. The sloping peak of the cutaway will vary depending on the shape of the guitar. The Grand Concert, Grand Auditorium, and Grand Symphony have a steeper slope, while the Dreadnought is a bit flatter. Our Grand Concert nylon-string models also feature a subtle, flatter slope, while our 100 and 200 Series cutaway models incorporate our flattest slope.
