BJF BUFFER
The One Control BJF buffer puts one of the brightest minds in the effect pedals business to use, to create the best buffer pedal available on the market. BJF’s designs have been imitated countless times but out of all of those clone attempts one thing was clear; BJF designs and selection of transistors and circuits is special. Although BJF has designed many pedals, this will be the only stand-alone buffer that he has designed. Efforts were made to make sure that the BJF buffer gives you the perfect amount of gain as well as input and output impendence. Even if the pedal is over-loadeded the design takes in to account that any distortion is still pleasant to the ears. While BJF was creating this pedal he specifically said that he does not put his name on a product that he doesn’t believe in and said that he believes this buffer design is great
The BJF buffer is a great example of what One Control aims to offer guitar players. We want to add functional pedals that look good, don’t take up space and do not compromise having the best tone possible.
One Control was honored to work with boutique pedal legend Bjorn Juhl when creating our buffer pedal. Make no mistake, the pedals that Bjorn designs almost all become legendary. The One Control team recognized and appreciated so many of Bjorn’s creation we decided we have to work with Bjorn.
The result was a buffer pedal that we believe is the best on the market. One of the things you don’t want a buffer to do is color your guitar tone too much. The BJF buffer minimizes impedance but doesn’t color your tone.
If you are running a large pedal board or even just long cables, the BJF buffer is a must have. Why settle for less, when you can have the best. The BJF Buffer.
IN USE
Most guitarists prefer to have a buffer at the beginning of their signal chain, so simply run your guitar into the buffer and then run your pedals after the buffer. Depending on what type of effect you use, some people like to have the buffer after the effect. For example for some fuzz a buffer is preferred later in the signal chain. If that is the case run from the fuzz into the buffer then into whatever effect is remaining or into your amp if the effect chain is over.
SPECS
